Sol Campbell is still ambitious?

So Sol Campbell is now happily settled at Portsmouth. Another very good signing by Harry Redknapp but still a little bemusing.

Teamtalk quotes Sol as saying "I'm still ambitious" but he's just left one of the largest clubs in the country, Champoins League runners-up and contenders again this year to join Portsmouth who - although doing well - are still relative new-boys to the Premiership.

And from Arsenal's perspective, I know Sol had his issues last season and is increasingly injury-prone but he's still a good defender. Not only did Arsenal let him go but the report says they paid up his contract at £80,000 a week!

Is it just me or does this smell like an Arbroath smokie?

When he was playing for one of the best team in europe, he lost his head... He'll soon see he has no future with this club, so he will take the more money he can, witout care about his play and the results.

That's a very very bad moove.
