John Terry beats Ferdinand to captaincy

By now everyone has heard the news that John Terry has been named England captain with Gerrard as Vice Captain.
It was a tough decision as both are great players, captain top premier league sides and have all the qualities you'd look for in a captain.
Personally I prefer Terry. No criticism of Gerrard - i just think Terry's marginally the better of an excellent pair of players. Obviously a fair number of Chelsea fans are pleased and preparing their new chants already.
The one person I wasn't considering was Rio Ferdinand, but his brother Anton seems convinced he was the best England player at the world cup and deserves the armband over Terry, Gerrard, Neville....
Hmm. Isn't brotherly love great. If blind.
