Chelsea: Special isn't Enough.

There comes a time in every man or woman's life when they are forced to part with something they truly adore...
It could be a cherished possession, a relative, a spouse. They know it will have to happen eventually, but they pray for later rather than sooner. They sometimes take it for granted, not knowing what they really had until it's gone, a distant blot in the setting sun. For me, and indeed the vast, vast majority of Chelsea supporters, that time has arrived with the velocity of a sickening car crash. Jose Mourinho. A household name across Europe, largely due to his actions, both on and off the pitch. When he arrived at SW6, a freshly crowned champion of Europe, he set the tone for what would become a roller coaster of a ride for Chelsea fans and indeed the rest of the league.
"Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm European champion and I think I'm a special one"
Uttered without a care in the world at the time, the above quote has generated more press, controversy and disdain than the OJ Simpson trial and Britney Spears combined. It has become synonymous with what people perceive Jose to be - either a charismatic genius, or an arrogant prick. There never is a grey area with the man. However, what everyone systematically and universally agrees on is that he is one of the best things to happen to English football. Never one without , his accusations, denials and simply ingenious quotations have fuelled the football world, being the centre of attention (whether he meant it or not) for almost 4 years now. He came at a time when the Premier League was starting to feel a little stale, a little over done. Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger dominated the headlines as much as they did on the pitch. There was no challenger, there was no one else, until that Portuguese wonder walked through the door of the Stamford Bridge press conference.
To keep it to a minimum, I want to express the utmost gratitude I have to Mourinho for creating the best years of our existence. The games, the feuds, the laughs. People called his style boring, but we had matches under him which I will remember for the rest of my life. Sp*rs in the FA Cup, Barcelona in Europe, Liverpool away 2005 (in the League). Not to mention the utter domination we had in England. No, Special just doesn't cover what this man was.

Emotions are the one that driven most of Abramovich's mind as he sacked Mourinho; and most human produce bad decisions when emotions are on the driving seat. As a ManUtd fan, I cannot believe why chelsea could have done such rash and terrible decision. It was Mourinho who formed chelsea as it is now, it was he who created stars such as Drogba, Terry, Lampard and Joe Cole, he was the lungs which breathe chelsea's success. I don't think the Premierleague will ever be the same without Mourinho; and soon the compass will revolve around Sir Alex and Wenger again. I don't think chelsea can win anything now, not even the FA cup without Mourinho. The team must be disqusted, and poor in motivation. You can never put a new manager on charge after 6 matches and one dissapointing champions league result with the emotional and spiritual heritage that Mourinho has left behind in the heart of the player, try to take over it and hope will win the champions league in Moscow, or even stop liverpool in Anfield; let alone regain premiership. Abramovich money megalomaniac has put him in a position where he thinks he can do all - earn all, yet he is now creating a newly found setback for chelsea just as fast as mourinho found success the first time he step into Stamford Bridge.
