It's fast becoming 'The Sydney FC Show'.....

Two weeks ago it was Dwight Yorke on his way out; now, it's coach Littbarski who is looking for another club, with chairman Walter Bugno, responsible for bringing both men to Australia, set to follow.

It was widely understood that either coach or star name, who between them are responsible for half of Sydney's $3m debts, would be sacrificed to make the team more accountable (note; only after the league was won, and Asian Champions League football assured) but the Bugno scenario is rather more surprising. It is hard to see what else he could do; he delivered crowds, stars and the title. It seems, though, that league boss Frank Lowy is paying close interest to the financial situation at the club, as well he might. His son, David, owns 25% of Sydney FC......
