Gabriel Batistuta is reported to be part of consortium looking to purchase Perth Glory. The West Australian side was put up for sale last month, and whilst up to 4 consortia are reported to be interested, it is the emergence of the Argentine legend that is causing a stir.
Batistuta retired to Perth last year, and keen to be involved in the local game. It is unknown whether the former striker would be involved in a playing, coaching or investment capacity. Perth need all three.....
A decision on club ownership is expected soon.
