Southampton cheers for Poland

With an estimated 10% of the town's population of Polish origin and players such as Rasiak and Bialkowski in the Saints team, it will be no surprise to see many Poland flags waving from windows across Southampton.

Poland are drawn in group A with Germany, Costa Rica and Ecuador and have a good chance of getting through.

However, it'll get interesting for Southampton residents if Poland finish second in group A and England top the table in group B as the two teams will face each other in their first knock-out game.
