Socceroos Underdogs at Home?

Possibly the friendliest friendly in football history is scheduled for Melbourne this Thursday. European Champions Greece are in town to provide the Socceroos with their last hit out in Australia prior to this summers World Cup.
If you have ever visited Melbourne you would know there are large tracts of the city where only Greek is spoken; there are more tavernas in Melbourne than in Athens (fact); when Greek/Cypriot Marcus Bagdatis made it to the Australian Open final in January he did so due to having virtually home court advantage.
The Greek team was mobbed as heros at the airport by the same fans that will be wearing green and gold in June. Souvenir sellers are cashing in with half blue/half yellow jerseys. The result of this is a virtual lap of honour for the Greek team
..and crowd that simply cant lose
