Ivory Coast (Cote d’Ivoire) – What a shame the’re out

Yet another great performance by the Ivorians, they have nothing to be ashamed of. If they had been in any other group, they could have made it through to the next round.

They are a delight to watch and have such flare and dedication, England take note ! Just like their previous match against Argentina, they didn’t give up. They could have pulled one back to force the draw. How many free kicks and corners did they have in the last 3 minutes ? Not to be though !

All credit to Holland and particulary Van Persie. Terrific strike, he seemed to be everywhere, right up to the end. Whilst the dutch won, it was not convincing and they will have to do better if they want to get a lot further !
