Do you want to stop the World Cup?

O.k so for a vast number of people, football is not their first love. But surely when it comes to the World Cup and your home team are playing, you’ll watch the odd game at some point in the competition.
Well, that’s not the case for Natalie of the “Stop the World Cup” site.
She wants to see the tournament abolished and perhaps football for ever. Obviously I don’t agree with this, how can anyone avoid the World Cup, I don’t know anyone male or female who at some point won't be glued to the box, even the less enthusiastic !
Any way take a look at the site and the "Women for football free England” rules which are amusing and include :
• Each goal scored by England will have to be compensated with one afternoon of shopping. At man's expense.
• All remote controls in the house are subject to WFE's authority.
• Each and every hour of televised football will have to be compensated with two hours of Sex and the City / Friends / Desperate Housewives. Prime Time.
Perhaps we should start a campaign against the "Stop the World Cup" movement here on reallifenews !
