Thumbs up to Wigans commercial department!

After all the grief Wigans commercial department has gotten over the years, what with them failing to capitalise on big matches and draw in big crowds, i think its only fair that they get the pat on the back they deserve for their recent work.
Their latest 'brainstorm' if you will is the "Bring a friend for a fiver" deal for the home game against Aston Villa. This means in a nutshell that the punters can watch the game for just a fiver if they go to the game with one of our current 12,500 season ticket holders.
This comes off the back of "kid for a quid" which was announced for the Charlton match. Admittedly this isn't original as many clubs use this promotion, but it is refreshing to see the commercial department finally at work.
So if you know a Latics season ticket holder, its time to befriend them and take advantage!
