As a Gooner, who did you want to win, Spurs or Chelsea?

Tricky question this one. When talking to my neighbour who is also an Arsenal fan, he was backing Spurs, such is his dislike for Chelsea.

However, for my son, it was a no brainer, he'd never support Spurs. How could he go to school the next day and face all his friends who support Tottenham?

For me, I'm sorry to say I also went with Spurs. Yep I know, it went a bit against the grain, can't remember a time when I wanted to see Spurs win.

From the off, it looked like Chelsea were going to repeat the same mistake they made in their first meet, Spurs pushing hard and really going for it. Then it settled into a pretty un-inspiring first half.

In the second half Spurs looked like they were going to take the initiative, then the goal from Shevchenko stunned the team and the crowd. Not dissimilar to many Arsenal games of late, it went against order of play.

Spurs were a bit unfortunate not to see Carvalho get sent off after he brought down Berbatov, that would have really opened the game up.

Last 10 minutes saw Chelsea up against it and they could have paid the price for playing attacking football. I think Robinson was trying to repeat his weekend’s good fortune! However, Chelsea hung on and now have Blackburn in the semi's.

So, if there is any consolation, there's still a chance that Chelsea will get knocked out of the cup!

Not that I'm bitter or anything!!

So hard to support Spurs, but I did, at the end I even enjoy a little seeing them on defeated. But, I really hate THIS Chelsea, that’s the main difference.. I hate Tottenham for ever, but this Chelsea…I hate the team… their supporters? I don’t even care!
They are not a Club, not history, not style, they are nothing! They just live in an expensive part of town… and the rest became fans a couple of minutes ago (as they won something).
But, the team? Made with biggest budget in whole world and cannot play enjoyable football for, let say… 5 minutes???
They are biggest shame on Earth (after Real Madrid and all that Galacticos sh***t)!

I had the rare pleasure of cheering against both teams in equal measure.

Their fans however, blend in quite easily together at the troglodytic convention that is Chelsk v Spuds.
Couldn't tell them apart.

I wanted both to go out. pref extratime and penalties then some injuries, but i honestly laughed when Chelski won because the ` glory boys` lol threw away another comfortable lead like against our reserves in the carling cup....You know the song ` 3-1 and you f****d it up` ! ! ! lol
