Our Biggest Fear... Just Came True!

It was the draw nobody wanted, and yet again Newcastle United were the team to draw the short straw, courtesy of no other, than Toon legend Rob Lee. A shocked Lee, picked out the number 2 ball of Newcastle United to seal their fate in which it could be Alan Shearer's last ever FA Cup game in what has been an illustrious career, from the Gosforth born centre-forward.
In what is Big Al's final chance of Silverware with the Magpies, the number nine has put all hope on the FA Cup being a well deserved leaving gift for the former England International who has served the Toon so well since his £15,000,000 mega move to Newcastle in 1996.
Although, there seems to be a shadow of hope, as at this exact stage last year, we beat Chelski 1-0 at St James' Park, courtesy of a Patrick Kluivert header. But the rot at Stamford Bridge has gone on far too long and surely it is time for the Black & White Army to give the United faithful something to cheer about and nick a win.
With the run we are on at the moment under Mr Roeder their seems to be confidence and belief in the side and who knows, with a fit squad we may prove a tricky task for Jose's boys.
