Man United's Ronaldo: Hero or Villain?

If you're a Man United fan then I guess the answer to this one is clear and simple. He's a hero. He's scored something like 15 goals this season and only been yellow carded once and has tremendous skill and ability!
However, when you're on the other side of the fence, unfortunately you get to see the other side to his game.
Watching the match against Spurs at the weekend, then I'd say it was no penalty and a dive. I don't blame the ref (Mark Clattenburg), it's a difficult one to call. And dare I say it? I have some sympathy for Martin Jol.
But as we know, this is not the first time (and probably wont be the last) that Cristiano has dived to gain the advantage. Back in December when United played Middlesbrough a similar situation occurred. It led to United taking the game in a 2 - 1 win, leaving Gareth Southgate fuming.
If we think back to the World Cup (maybe we don't want to) and to the Rooney incident his behaviour in pressing the ref to card Rooney won him no friends. Against the French yet another diving incident had him booed with every touch he made.
I know people have been saying this for ages, but it's time that this kind of behaviour is well and truly clamped closed down.
Whilst I'm using Ronaldo as the example, he's by no means the only player that’s like this. Being and Arsenal fan, I'm well aware that we are not immune.
I'd noticed a rumour (denied by Scolari) claiming he'd said that Ronaldo should leave United and head to Barcelona. What a shame it's just a rumour, we’d have one less villain in the premiership.

hello there, i am a MAN UTD fan, but im a pro footballer too, if u a footballer then u will know..its a dive or not.. malbranque tried to tackle ..but unfortunately he did pull back his leg...yes and it happen in a split of second..but if i am in ronaldo situation yes i would react to protect my ankle..n thats why i dive.. it really make sence..
