Top summer signing for Liverpool fc confirmed

Posted by Akzoony in Liverpool, Transfers | 5 May 2006

Well hows that for a turn up for the books!?!

It took the entire transfer window last season before we found out about our top signing (re-signing Steven Gerrard finally ending that terrible saga), this year we get our present early!

Robbie Fowler; God, has been offered and has signed a new one year contract (seriously injuring any nearby onlookers in his haste to reach the pen i suspect).

Even the news today that Left Back Fabio Aurelio may be re-considering a move to Real Madrid - despite looking nailed on - cannot temper any true reds joy at hearing this news!

Now im sure at least some of you were expecting to hear about Ronaldo, or Simao when first you saw the title of this blog, but i make no apologies. I can honestly say that no signing in the world of football would bring me as much satisfaction than Robbies return! (obviously discounting by some miracle the return of a young Ian Rush!!)

Well done Robbie it has been hard earned and well deserved! heres to a successful 2006-2007 season!

Fowler's new contract is better than any foreign arrival, what with him Gerrard (immortal) and saint Carragher, we have true scouse blood what more would any scouser need in our side. LFC for ever.

Robbie is old now and we need to get a top class striker like; henry, rooney ect. you cant win a league without goals.. so maybe tores is an option or maybe defoe who has great talent for such a young age.
