Liverpool 0 Everton 3: Something positive please?

Boll**ks! That all I have to say. Everton 3 Liverpool 0.
I dont even want to comment on how unlucky it was.
We looked good in places, with some impressive possession, touches and passing play. We just had too many players a yard off the pace and too little understanding between too many new players.
Hyypia looked slow; not a problem when hes on form but he was a yard off too often. The same with Carragher, just back from injury he gave it all as always but was just not quite there.
Gerrard was in and out of the game, Alonso has just not got started and after his early performances for club and country it looks like its going to take something special to kick start his season once again.
Garcia was non existent in large periods, Fowler drifted out of the game too often, Crouch wasnt dropping back as much as we have come to expect.
Although this looks like too many individual problems it boils down to the fact that we are changing our game, have had very little time to train and there are a lot of new faces again this year with no latent understanding between existing players to fall back on.
Players are just looking lost.
We have the players for a great season but as yet they have no understanding between them. I can see this continuing for the weeks to come until some basic relationships start to be built within this new Liverpool side. This wouldnt be a problem but with Everton today, Chelsea next Sunday and Tottenham after that I can see us having another slow start to the season again this year!
Im back off to the pub to drown my sorrows, anyone with anything poitive to add; I would love to hear it!
YNWA
back from pub now! something i wanted to add to this semi drunken rant from earlier was that Everton were impressive today especially Cahill and Johnson.
Tomorrows another day and next Sundays another game. Rafa has an un-interupted week with his players before we meet Chelski next week and fingers crossed things will start to look a bit more cohesive by then!

It's a Grand Old Team to play for...
Waaaah, waaaah, it's so unfair, those bitter blues had 11 men and had the gaul to score three, waaaah.
Kyut has to be our first choice centre forward. Crouch for all his willingness is not powerful or mobile enough. Give Dirk a settled team and watch him bang in the goals.
Moan moan moan unlucky my arse you were just well beaten.
Carragher gave it his all ha ha yeah Everton a goal.
AJ the man.
Money can't buy you love dick haeds.
You boys took one hell of a beating. Or as I seen on other websites "a Thumping".
"Andrew Johnson" - fuck off, you got away with it and you know it. Cahill's getting a taste of his own medicine next time.
I was at the game today and yes im a happy blue but if you want possitive feedback i dont think i can give you that but i think liverpool where a yard off the pace (big surprise) didnt have a gameplan because rafa is crasse enough to think that everton should be the ones who should adapt to the way liverpol play and to be totally honest and brutal we had a cutting edge and hyppia looked as if his career is comming to an end
Happy Blue here - some positice comments? Well you had some new faces (Kuyt, Pennant, Aurelio) who were never going to be fired up for their first derby (although they will for their second!). A few of your players lacked match practice (Sissoko, Carragher and Riise) as they had just come back from injury, and to be fair you made enough chances that on any other day would have give you at least one goal.
Negatives - think some of your players didn't turn up today (Garcia, Fowler, Crouch), not sure why, but then again we all have off days - think a bigger problem was that your defence looked shakey all game (do you remember where hyypia and aurelio nearly took each other out knocking a ball out for a throw when completely unchallenged?). They need to get a bit of confidence and work with your midfield to close down their next game.
Lets face it, by the time we meet you in February, you'll be a lot more settled as a team, you'll be at home and you'll be well up for some revenge.... and we'll still beat you! ;)
Final thought worst performance of the game was Poll, once again. Yes you should have had a penalty (but the way you were playing you'd've missed it anyway), and he seemed to award a free kick against osman every time he got near the ball for "breathing in a funny way". He's proved time and time again that he's not a good referee, so why is he still officiating premeirship games?
everton was 10 yards in front of liverpool all game they had a few half chances but nothing come from them... in the end everton took there chance and put them in the back of the net as liverpool didnt good game to watch im a happy blue
