Should it have been Arsenal v Everton tonight?

Maybe wed have struggled after knocking Villarreal out but it does make you wonder.
Before a look at the latest transfer goss, a quick glance at the Stamford Bridge procession. Real Life Blues correctly predicted a 3 goal margin and so it came to pass.
We really didnt look in any danger until Drogba, who looks alarmingly like a woman (possibly the 4th Degree), robbed Tim and Lampard got his usual goal against us.
We never really looked like scoring before Carsley was wrongly sent off, (does it make you wonder what process does the club go through before deciding whether or not to appeal?), which probably spells the end of his season shame. It was a bad one but a yellow would have done. After that it was one way traffic, with Rob Styles only intervening one more time to give a stupid free-kick which kind of led to the vastly overrated and over priced Michael Essien smashing in the third.
The Blues did battle well but we expected to lose this one, and we did. End of.
Elsewhere in the news we are being linked with any number of players once again.
First up, the new Wayne Rooney, step forward Scott Spencer of Oldham, whos been scoring for fun (rather than seeing it as a chore) for the Latics Academy side. We are very close to securing a deal for the young rumster. Next, Cameron Jerome of Cardiff, a big striker whos really come into his own since Rob Chip or Dale Earnshaw went on a yo-yo clubs tour. Andy Johnson apparently wants in as well if Palace dont go up. Blues will be heartened by the fact that we are being linked with forwards, the area of the team needing the most surgery.
Elsewhere, Matteo Ferrari seems keen to stay which is good news as he was looking pretty good prior to getting injured in the Arsenal game. It was a surprise that Moyesy picked Weir ahead of him for the Chelsea game though.
When the first team is doing your head in with its feeble crawl to the end of the season, theres only one thing left to do. Real Life Blues has decided to take in a reserve team fixture tonight. Leeds United are the opposition in a game which sees the long awaited return of Steve no honestly, I did play for England, like Stone. So, is Victor Anichibe is the archetypal real deal? Details of this eagerly anticipated fixture will follow soon.

ROB STYLES IS ALWAYS ON THE CHELSEA SIDE.IF YOU LOOK BACK TO THE FIRST LEG CHELSEA VS BOLTON.GARDENER USED HIS HAND TO BLOCK THE BALL.HE WAS NOT UNDER ANY BIG PRESSURE.STLYES GAVE HIM A RED CARD.AFTER THAT STYLES LOOKED TO THE SIDE WITH A GREAT SMILE AND HE RAISED HIS THUMB.I DON'T KNOW WHO HE WAS LOOKING AT,BUT THE WHOLE INCIDENT LOOKED WEIRD TO ME.
you have got to be joking!! real madrid/ajax/juventus v everton, they would have been cricket scores!
Cheers David.
I hadn't realised it was Rob Styles in that game but that was another odd decision. He looked pretty matey with Robben when he was late for the second half as well, very strange.

Er scumbuster
I think you are missing the point. What I was trying to do was follow Villarreal's progress through the competition. Granted we couldn't have played United, but Benfica are no great shakes and Rangers and then Inter Milan aren't world beaters. We certainly wouldn't have played Ajax/Real Madrid or Juve.
Oh yeah, and another thing, as for cricket scores, that suggests you know as much about cricket as you do footy. Nowt. With your lack of cricketing knowledge and the name, I was just wondering, you're not from Yorkshire are ya?

True, 345 for 7 would look odd on a football scoreboard.
If we're talking runs only I feel a game ending 345 to 189 (bad away game for the blues) would be some spectacle.
