Chelsea give us a chance

Chelsea have won the premier league twice in a row and after spending another fraction of Abramovich's billions have strengthened the team to secure their third title.
But on Wednesday night his side gave the chasing pack some hope by losing to Middlesborough - something that's a bit of a habit for Chelsea. With defeat to Liverpool in the Community Shield as well, there is some chattering about weaknesses, frail defence and vulnerability.
I think it was Alex Ferguson who said you can't lose more than 6 games in a season if you want to have a chance at the title. Well, two games in and Chelsea have lost one.
It does give some hope to the other teams and in a long premiership season no-one can take anything for granted. But Chelsea remain the team to beat, regardless of Wednesday's result.

chelsea lost 5 games last year and were 8 points ahead of united ergo could have lost 2 more and still won ...just shows ferguson doesnt know everything ....and remember they lost the last two with a load of reserves playing coz the league was already won
