Yet another disappointing Arsenal performance
Posted by Martin in Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Sheffield | 30 December 2006
What is it with Arsenal at the moment? We do well against the top clubs like Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea (lets forget about Bolton for now!) and then we struggle with the clubs at the lower end of league.
O.k last week we beat Watford, not exactly and inspiring performance and now we lose to Sheffield after beating them 3 nil earlier in the season.
I have to say though, when I saw the line-up for the match today, I'm wasnt too surprised by the result. With the likes of Gallas, Henry and fast becoming my favourite player Adebayor not able to play, my expectations weren't too high.
So the season so far is pretty much summed up in my Arsenal vs Blackburn post, we lack consistency, which seems to be the term used by most describing the Gunners performance at present.
So what does the past tell us about our future?
Well, our game against Charlton will be a struggle, we'll either lose or draw and then as we meet Liverpool on 2 separate occasions, we'll do well and see them off.
Lets hope so!

Call yourself an Arsenal supporter - we had 10 first team players out tonight? How can you expect consistency with that amount of injuries?

As Belgian we are again sad to not see our national team go. But we will enjoy seeing the english play. http://voetbal.be shows at least your future is safe for Mancheester with players like this (9 years old)
