Revenge is sweet for Arsenal

Well what a nail biter! The gunners dominated the first half with their free flowing football, won all those lose balls, frustrated Bolton who rarely looked like scoring. We could have been 3 up in the first half alone!

It was great to show Sam that we have what it takes to beat them and that we have the strength that he's been saying we've been lacking.

However, he must have given his team something at half time, as Bolton came out with renewed vigour and started to compete.

When we missed the first penalty I thought that it might not be our day. Dare I say it, I doubted that we would win. The tide was turning against us. Then the 92 minute goal from Bolton and we were up against it.

Campo's fall in the penalty area was disgraceful, tho' as you could tell from his face, he was openly admitting that he'd gone for the penalty.

Extra time, it could have gone either way and then Freddie came to the rescue.

If the game had gone to penalties, then from what we saw tonight, we'd be out of the cup.

What can we take from this game ?

1 - Play like we did in the first half and we're un-stoppable. Our youngsters are really starting to bloom. Hleb I thought was outstanding, tonight has to be one of his best performances.
2 - When we play Bolton in the premiership in April, we've got to be confident that we can win.
3 - More penalty practice please!
