Lucky Arsenal? Not any more!

Well I've been a bit quiet of late here at RLN on the Gunners performance. But to be honest, I'm a bit stunned at what's happened to us over the past few weeks.

Beaten in the Carling Cup, knocked out of the Champions league, out of the FA cup and now struggling to take 3rd position, when there was a time when I thought we could take second.

Arsenal's game on Saturday against West Ham has done little to ease the pain. Having the run of the game for the most part, hitting the bar twice and coming close on 30 occasions!! only to be thwarted by Green time and time again! It's been a consistent theme of late!

There was a time when were labelled "Lucky Arsenal", but the luck has not been with us this year. That label would fit better with Chelsea this season. Though Mourinho is placing that label on Man United.

If there's any consolation from what happened on Saturday, well it has to be seeing Man United being beaten by Portsmouth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not keen to see Chelsea take the title again, but a bit of pressure on Sir Alex wouldn't go a miss.

I have spoken to a voodoo man.

He says we will NEVER win if Freddie Ljunberg OR Diaby are to start a game.

I agree with this theory.

If Diaby plays?? Are you some sort of halfwit? Diaby started in our victory against Villa. He didn't start on Sat and we still lost. Other players deserve abuse but Diaby is most definately not one of them. Look at the "beast" and hleb in recent games

I said if he plays we will never win. As for Saturday - Ljunberg played so my theory still stands.

Remind me the last time Diaby OR Ljunberg didn't play?
