Arsenal through to the fourth round. Just!

So our team's name goes into the draw for the next round, though it wasnt one of most convincing of performances.
Credit has to go the Burnley, who managed to prevent us from playing our passing game (as did the pitch) and had me biting my nails for much of the game!
In the first half Burnley could have so easily taken the lead. Fortunately for the Gunners they lacked the finishing, which in the end was the difference between the two sides.
Whilst Burnley can be proud of their performance, I felt Lafferty made a real difference. So whilst it was good news for Arsenal when he was sent of for his challenge on Gilberto, it did little to help Burnleys cause, which their fans made clear to Alan Wiley.
As for Arsenals performance, Bendtner and Eduardo partnered well, but the real positive was seeing Senderos put in a solid performance at the back.
With the loss of Toure for at least four weeks, well need someone to step into his boots. Based on this performance, Phillipe could be the man.
Not something I would have said previously!

To get match-event for Gunners... All the best...Gunners...thanks
Didn't Senderos make a hash of a clearance in the first half that gifted Blades with the chance to equalise but it was blazed over? Honestly, from my view from the sofa of the game on TV, I thought Senderos looked his usual slightly dodgy self. Not confidence inspiring at all.
I didn't say Senderos was perfect and having seen his performance against Spurs, I'm wishing I'd hadn't mentioned him.
He was back to his old ways, half clearances, getting caught out and not having the speed to get back to defend etc etc. How long will it be before he's replaced I wonder!
