Arsenal Ladies do it again

What a great year for the ladies. Winning 4 major cups, including the European title and then on Monday taking the FA Cup with a 4 1 win over Charlton.
It's rare that I get the chance to see the ladies play, but thanks to the Beeb I was able to enjoy what was a great game.
Whilst Arsenal went a goal down within the first couple of minutes of the game, they quickly responded from a Smith free kick just outside the area, levelling the scores. A goal from Jayne Ludlow putting Arsenal in the lead.
Just before half time Ludlow scored from around 30 yards out taking a half volley that Wayne had no chance of saving. Fantastic strike!
The second half was more of the same, with Charlton looking less likely to score and Arsenal looking to increase their tally considerably, which they did.
It was great to watch a side not afraid to shoot, something the mens team could learn from.
Rachel Yankey took every opportunity to put Wayne under pressure, perhaps slightly too often, as the odd ball across the box may have paid dividends.
But when you're the champions of Europe, havent lost or drawn a game in the Premier League all season, who am I to criticise!
If you follow the Arsenal Ladies and fancy writing about their ups and downs (should they ever have any!), please get in touch.

Well done Arsenal ladies wrapping up the Cup Final to finish a great year. There was more than a 'passing' resemblence to the mens team as they pinged the ball around.
One disappointment watching the game though was that the commentator in the second half said - 'as Charlton chase the game, they are bound to leave themselves exposed at the back'.
I watched very closely but unfortunately their kit stayed firmly on
(sexist swine - sorry)
