Arsenal lacked the will to win

After such an exciting match in the week against Bolton, and with the 6 - 2 defeat on Blackburns mind, it was never going to be an easy game.

To Blackburn's credit, they defended against us well. Walcott rarely got a look in with Warnock on his toes and I'd say that the youngster's poor touch let us down on more that one occassion.

He wasn't the only one that didn't have the greatest of games, most of the team appeared to be somewhat subdued.

It wasn't till Adebayor and Rosicky came on that we showed any real desire to win the game.

Yet again though we see some poor decision making, or lack off in the case of the incident where Aliadiere was brought down by Warnock. How Mr Atkinson didn't see that one, I'll never know!

Not that I really think we deserved to win and any case and with our recent penalty performance, what were our chances of scoring?

I actually thought we were the only team that deserved to win as we were the only ones doing any attacking. To their credit Blackburn did defend well, but that's about all they did.
