Arsenal 2 Blackburn 0 - A less than thrilling encounter!

Wenger commenting on the fans after the match said "They were a bit nervy tonight with one-nil" and rightly so in my humble opinion.
The first fifteen to twenty minutes I thought we'd wrap the game up, after Philippe Senderos's first goal early in the match, yet we allowed Blackburn to get a foothold and at times we had trouble winning and keeping possession.
It was only when Sagna had the ball out wide that opportunities opened up, but they were few and far between. How many times do we play the ball down the centre, only to tip toe around the penalty area, before it all breaks down?
The second half was better, Arsenal controlling the game, with Hleb hitting the post and Adebayor being denied by Friedel, who kept Blackburn in with a chance. Although the way Blackburn were playing, they had very little to offer in the way of attacking football.
Thanks to Adebayor, who in the dying minutes took his 22nd goal of the season.
So despite a less than thrilling encounter, we go 5 points clear, which at the end of the day, is all that counts.
And so to the FA Cup and Champions League, a whole new ball game!
Come on you Gunners!
