Are Arsenal losing too many stars?

So far this summer Arsenal have lost Bergkamp, Campbell and Pires. The Cole saga is rumbling on but it seems almost certain that Cashley will be off. And then there are the claims and denials that Reyes is wanted by - and wants to go to - Real Madrid.

Bergkamp and Pires were planned and expected. I've no problem with them. Campbell was a bit of a surprise as, although we all know he's been a bit 'distracted' this season, he's still a quality player (could someone that good really end up at Portsmouth?).

But Chavley and Reyes are not players Wenger wants to be losing. The problem in left-back is that the replacements are out injured leaving us exposed for the start of the season. Less of an issue with Reyes as we have more potential cover.

But Reyes plays an important part in the team as his performace in tonight's friendly showed.

I know we've brought Rosicky and Wenger is a magician with young talent, but I have to admit to being slightly worried going into the new campaign. I don't want him doing a Chelsea and over-paying for half-a-dozen players but I'm not convinced Wenger is happy with the loss of personnel this summer.

I have been an arsenal fan since i was five years and i will be forever. Lets agree we will not be one of the contenders for the title. Chelsea too strong maybe Liverpool, manchester and hotspurs might challenge them but not we. Wenger has become so mean and expects too much from a very weak force. I sympatise for superstar Thiery whom is expected to carry Arsenal by himself this season a gain.We need two or three players at least. Not the likes of Song. But all in all i wish them the best
