6 reasons why I should pay over £1 000 for my Arsenal ticket

When ever I have to traipse into London for work stuff, my journey takes me past the Emirates stadium, so I guess its not surprising that my mind wanders and I get thinking about the Gunners.
Well the other day, my thoughts turned to the price of my ticket, how much Id be willing to spend to see my team, given the recent price hike; especially as my better half has been questioning whether it was value for money, given she could get a couple of top class theatre tickets every month, for the same price as my season ticket.
So, heres my 6 reasons for justifying the cost:
1) Well to start, Arsenal have the best ground in Europe, spacious seats, good view, and a fantastic atmosphere. Where else can you watch such great football?
2) And so to the football the Gunners play the most entertaining and beautiful football in the land, yes it can be frustrating at times, but when Arsenal are on form, theres no team that can match them.
3) I get to see, not only the Premiership matches, but also the Champions League matches, with other season tickets these tickets have to be bought separately, with all the hassle that goes along with buying them.
4) Unlike the other top teams in the Premiership, the Gunners dont sit back and play the defensive game, neither do they have a hoof it mentality, so you get value for money at every game. Well almost!
5) If I cant get to a match, I can always get someone else to go in my place, use the buy back scheme or offer my ticket to another eager fan and so reduce my season ticket cost burden a weak argument tho.
6) With a price freeze for the past 4 years, then it was inevitable that the cost would go up everything does, even theatre tickets!
So, there you have it, a very postive take on why I should hand-over a large sum to the Arsenal, especially as weve not won a trophy recently.
But heres hoping for a trophyful season!

Agree but no allowance for O.A.P'S unlike other grounds unless you want to rejoin the waiting list for a new seat ?
Arsenal have the potential, but can they do it? I wonder. A few patches in, and we have earned our credential. But what’s the motivation this year? Last year, they were hungry to prove something because Henry left, what do they really, really have to go out there and denie this time? Yet again, I wonder.

I'll give you a seventh - because you're a cock.
Fantastic atmosphere? You'd have creamed your pants had you been to Highbury in the 80s son.
Here's eight.
The atmosphere may not be akin to THOF yet, but it's still loud enough that if you're sat near to Herdee, you can't hear him speak.
here's nine
we love the Arsenal and we know we are looking at football the way it should be played.
we should get rid of Eboue though
'fantastic atmosphere'?
Plums like you are the reason the board think they can get away with taking the piss.
When we don't have champions league football and we revert back to the dark days of the mid 70s and early 80s, as is certain to happen with the current policy of selling, and only 25,000 are turning up do you think you'll witnessing 'great football' then?
Come to think of it, you're probably won't be going if that was the case would you.
Half of me wants to see us fall on our arses, at least that way we get rid of the coporate support and environment surrounding the greatest club on the planet.
And Arsenal's treatment of our future support, ie the Junior Gunners, is scandalous.
Once the Family Enclosure is filled, JGs have to pay full whack to sit anywhere else inside the stadium.
Last season i paid on average £41 for my 11yr old's ticket. Of 15 matches he attended only 6 times did he pay the cheapest price of £15.
Utd charge £190 wherever you sit and for all home games. Taking into account cup matches that's less than £10 per game, cheaper than our cheapest ticket.
We're alienating the very people who are core support.
Point 3 is valid because a number of other clubs do not include Cup games. I understand Spurs have 2 cup games included becuase that's all they're ever need.
Point 2 is not really valid. If the football falls below the high standards does the ticket become cheaper? Of course not, plus 90% of the teams that come to The Em*rates put 10 men behind the ball and hoof it so point 4 is not really valid.
Fair enough the price freeze has been nice but there was no need to put prices up. The club make as much money from the Prawn Ring as they did from the whole of Highbury and the cost of general tickets was already too high so putting prices up again was a kick in the teeth. There didn't need to be a rise, prices could have been frozen again but once again the genuine fan is hit in the pocket.
As for point 1 - that ism laughable. The atmosphere is poor other than for games against Man Utd and Chelsea. Yes the views from the stadium are great but the facilities are not as good as The North Bank at Highbury.
I have no dount the Prawn Ring probably hs great facilities but i don't think a lack of toilets, bare concrete walls everywhere and £2 for a bag of crisps make our new stadium "the best in Europe".
As i say, The North Bank - built in 92 was better than the stadium built some 14 years later.
For the record my ticket costs £1350 - North Upper and due to rising costs of mortgages and everything else it is likely this will be my final year with my season ticket. It's too much.
Is it just me or is point 2.'We play entertaining football'...and point 4. 'We dont have a hoof it mentality' (boring football) more or less the same thing? Bringing it down to 5 reasons
this year due 2 the jibes oh hleb n flamini they r gonna play n win
