World Car Free Day
In case you've not heard of World Car Free day, it's nothing new, in fact it has been running since the year 2000, when Car Busters, Europe's version of the event, called on the World to take part.

So what is it?

Well according to the World Carfree Network, "it's an annual celebration of cities and public life, free from the noise, stress and pollution of cars"

If you've not taken part in this event before (which I've not), then there's still time to think about how you can make your contribution.

If you have children, then how about getting them walking to school or getting those bikes out of the garage and cycling. If you have to go to the office, consider the alternative to driving or perhaps even work from home!

I'm sure your can think of other ways of getting involved!
