Tree people - New Zealand's cool climate change pledge site

A colleague sent me a link to the Tree People website.
In essence it's just another site - this time from Genesis Energy, a New Zealand power company - encouraging individuals to sign pledges to reduce their carbon footprint.
But it does do it in a very nice way.
Each Tree Person selects a native New Zealand tree and as they complete their pledges their tree grows. It also grows if they sign up friends and family who also make pledges. Finally, if the Kokako bird visits your tree you could win a prize such as a mountain bike.
The site is mainly aimed at - but not limited to - children. It's cute and well executed and seems to have had a decent take-up so far.
