Science of Survival : eco-exhibition

Posted by DavidM in Events | 27 June 2008

Until November 2nd, The Science Museum in London is hosting the Science of Survival exhibition. Billing itself as 'a hands-on exhibition for the eco-generation' it covers eating and drinking, entertainment, transport and building. The centrepiece is the opportunity to design the environmentally friendly city of the future.

The exhibition and website are squarely aimed at younger children, featuring characters called Buz, Tek, Dug and Eco.

For an interactive exhibition the website is very wordy and it's hard to tell how good the exhibition is. In fact it's best to go the the Keith Prowse website where they have a short video of the exhibition.

If you've been, leave a comment and let us know if it's any good.

The thing I like most about it is the name - by increasingly talking about the environment as a matter of survival we have a better chance of securing the change in behaviour we need.
