The environmentally friendly MP3 player

Trevor Baylis is a hero.

The man who made radios and torches available to many in Africa by powering them with a wind-up mechanism continues to apply his technology to other consumer goods.

The latest is the Eco Media Player. One minute of winding gives up to 40 minutes of playing time - and can be used for music, movies, FM radio or photos.

It also has a memo recording function and can even charge up your mobile phone. Move over Apple - Baylis has defined the all-in-one utility media player.

No national grid coal-burning charging, no dirty landfill swelling batteries. Just a bit of winding and away you go.

I've found positive reviews of the Eco Media Player and Stephen Fry loves it!
