The greentomato kit

greentomatoI recently came across greentomato, whose aim is to offer ways to be kinder to the planet.

Their first initiative was to launch greentomatocars, which they claim to be an environmentally friendly taxi service for Londoners. This they started in 2006 with just 4 cars and now have over 60. A great idea, not sure why I haven’t come across them before!

Their second product is the greentomatokit. This comprises of energy saving light bulbs, a water saving device, reusable cotton bag, air temperature thermometer and stickers, all for £9.99. And before you ask, no I'm not on commission!

Anyway, check out their site, they also feature "tips" on how to be friendly to the environment.
