Plans for season 3 of the vegetable patch

It's only been a couple of months since the end of a successful second season growing my own vegetables but it's already time to start planning for season three.
I haven't got round to growing winter crops for year-round home-grown food but the garden still takes 10 months of work.
I've extended the plot about 18 inches to make the most of a gap in our garden and I've bought some netting to cover some of the new crops.
I'm planning to stick with the successes from last year - potatoes, onions, shallots, carrots, one courgette plant and runner beans. I'll also have a long row of tomato plants again even though I lost them all to blight last year.
A new addition this year will be strawberries - from cuttings from my father-in-law - which is why I need the netting.
The green beans were disappointing last year so I won't bother with those and after two years of planting and not a single sprouting I'll be leaving the broccoli. Cucumbers produced only one fruit per plant so didn't seem worth it last year though I may plant lettuce's again.
My sister started her veg patch last year and did well with mange tout so I might make room for some. The advice she was given was to grow vegetables that are expensive in the shops - so grow mange tout rather than garden peas.
I'd also like to get some garlic cloves in and fancy using a small corner for asparagus.
