Life Goggles' fun green round-up

Posted by DavidM in Green websites | 6 January 2008

I came across another green website over the Christmas period - Life Goggles - which comments about the environment as well as music and entertainment. be warned - there is an article that includes the plotline for the second season of Heroes so take care when reading.

I like Adam's round-up of fun recent green articles from Treehugger. The Amazon paper towel dispenser is a great idea - cleverly and simply getting the message across that our consumption can damage that fragile ecosystem.

Additional fun items Adam lists are a reconstruction of the Mona Lisa using railway tickets (cool), virtual book signing by Longpen (would you really want that?) and a car that used to be a plane (clever but not very practical).

The damage we are doing to the environment is serious and needs addressing properly. But that doesn't mean we can't look at the lighter side of things occasionally.

Hi David

Glad you like the website and the roundups. As the title suggests there are lots of other roundups (http://www.lifegoggles.com/category/fun-green-roundup/) if you like that sort of thing.

As you say, the environment is a serious thing but it's nice to have a lighter look at things once in a while.
