Is biodiesel making my car slow?

diesel_202598.jpgI've been running my car on biodiesel for about 9 months and overall I'm really pleased with it.

It's a bit of a pain having to travel to Enfuels to get it, but for only 92p a litre and the satisfaction of knowing I'm not consuming oil reserves it's worth it.

However, my car's fuel consumption has steadily worsened and in the last few months it's lost what little pulling power it had - to the point where I can't overtake anything once I hit an incline.

It may be the mileage the car's done - nearly 150,000 miles - or is it something to do with the fuel?

A friend of mine has been using the same fuel from Enfuels for about 3 months in his Range Rover and hasn't noticed any problems.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has had a noticeable performance decline after switching to biodiesel.
