Buy a new loo this Christmas!

As I mentioned in my D.I.Y post, I'm a bit of a late starter to the whole green thingy!
However, I'm slowly getting into it (probably Davids influence) and am taking more of an interest in practical things I can do to help.
With my current bathroom project nearing completion, (well in a few weeks!) my mind is moving on to the next project.
We have a small cloak room with an old toilet, probably installed with the house back in 1927. I've considered replacing it on many occasions, but never quite got round to it.
I came across a post on Green Savvy which talks about the amount of water pre 1994 toilets use.
According to the article, I'm likely to be flushing 7 gallons of water away with every flush, though I have bent the stop cock to minimise the water used. Apparently modern toilets only use 1.6 gallons per flush, so a huge saving overall.
Next stop, my local bathroom shop to purchase a new loo for Christmas!!
