World Environment Day is commemorated every year on the 5th of June and is used by the United Nations to raise global awareness.
This year British Businesses will be encouraged to get their employees to switch off their P.Cs before leaving their office.
Apparently it costs U.K industry a staggering £123m each year as a result of P.Cs being left on.
If you were to add to that the cost of home P.Cs not being switched off, (don't think my children know where the off switch is!), then the cost could easily be doubled as is the damage being caused.
So, from the 5th of June you now know what to do!
