Want to build a solar powered scooter?

Well Don has done just that. Don's Solar Scooter has been designed to have a fold-away set of solar panels so that when the scooter is driven it's completely legal and when it's parked the panels can be extended so the battery is recharged.
Don provides a complete set of instructions on how to modify the scooter, an EVT4000E, which I took a peak at and yes he does explain how to do this, not that I've tried it.
Sounds like a weekend job for David, followed by a full product review!

Pretty nice project in my opinion. I also found some other interesting vehicles to build like the homemade solar powered bike. Maybe I will post one of my own projects on www.solaralways.com which I am currently developing.
