Fire at biodiesel supplier

Posted by DavidM in Driving | 13 May 2007

As I wrote on my last post I've recently found a new biodiesel supplier nearer to home who'll deliver and is about a third cheaper than diesel.

The bad news is my wife heard on local radio the other day about a fire in Swanmore where Beautifuels are. It turns out that 60,000 litres of used cooking oil that was waiting to be converted into biodiesel caught fire and burnt their barn down.

I'll give them a ring tomorrow but my first delivery on Tuesday is looking pretty unlikely now.
