Google gets on it's bike

When Google was a small, fast-growing company, it was also considered pretty cool. It's nice to see that, despite now being one of the largest companies in the world and dominating it's core market, it still retains some of it's original feel.

Reinforcing it's image as a big business doing things differently, Google has now offered it's 2,000 non-US employees a free bike so they can get fit and reduce emissions. The folding bike, made by Raleigh, is worth £349 and comes in ladies, mens and Google cruiser versions. Employees can also get a google branded helmet.

Treehugger wonders how long it will take for these to appear on ebay - especially anything Google branded. I had a quick check and there's nothing there yet - maybe they haven't given them out yet.
