Biodiesel selling well

Posted by DavidM in Driving | 23 April 2007

I'm still making regular fortnightly visits to Enfuels to fill up on biodiesel.

I turned up last Friday to find they were near the end of the latest container. As they'd had a slow start and taken a while to sell their first 1,000 litre batch, I assumed this was the end of the second.

But no, they're now selling a container-full every couple of days. They've got a growing number of regular customers ranging from family cars, courier vans and even a bus! And as these early adopters spread the word of this cheaper, greener fuel the demand can only grow.

With diesel now usually above 94p a litre and roumoured to go above £1 this summer, 89p a litre for a fuel that works fine yet reduces our net impact on the environment should encourage more rapid adoption.
