Sunday telegraph: Climate change is a conspiracy

The Sunday Telegraph recently featured a two part article debunking the myth of climate change.
Have a read of part one and part two of the articles then head over to the Guardian for the response by George Monbiot.
There is always an element in these things of competitor paper bashing but I have to say George makes more sense than Viscount Monckton. I don't believe you need a science degree to have an opinion on climate change but if you are going to challenge detailed scientific and economic analysis you need to have some qualifications.
This is disappointing for a newspaper which, though traditionally right wing, has had a reputation for pretty good factual reporting skills. I agree with the Sunday telegraph that there is room for discussion aboout climate change, but please, let's make it informed discussion using the right data!
