BST comes to an end. What will you do with the extra hour?

This Sunday sees the end to British Summer Time with the clocks going back and hour.
Now you can look at that in a couple of ways, an extra hour in the day to get more done, or whoopee an extra hour in bed! Which is to be?
Well if it's the former, here are a few ideas from David's back catalogue of posts that you may want to try.
In readiness for the winter months, why spend a few of those extra 60 minutes buying a few low energy light bulbs.
Having a composter myself, I think they are a great idea. So if you haven't got one yet, have a garden, then why not go to your local DIY store or garden centre and set one up. Spend a few more of those minutes to read David's experience and learn from it!
Save water by cutting down on the amount your toilet uses per flush. David's idea is to add a bottle filled with water to the cystern (if that's what its called) and so reducing its capacity. I have heard people using bricks with the same results.
So that's about it. I'm sure there are many more ways to spend those extra 60 minutes.
But lastly did you know? This year marks the last time the clocks will change in October. Apparently from 2007 the date is going to be moved back to November, and Daylight Savings Time in spring will be brought forward from April to March.
Another step forward to help the environment and save energy!
