Future London at the Science Museum

Posted by DavidM in Events | 28 September 2006

I'd seen posters for Future London on the underground and have finally got round to checking the website.

Unfortunately the posters suggest you can get involved but the website is pretty awful. There isn't really that much content on each page and getting around the pages isn't clear. Also, there is only one section where you can 'Have your say' but actually you can't, all you can do is select a pledge from a pre-set list.

Althought the site is rubbish the idea is good - to encourage Londoners to think about small changes in their lives. The website is part of a wider campaign including a free exhibition at the Science Museum until 1st October.

I'm not going to be able to get to it but if anyone else goes I'd be interested to know if it's better than the website.

I have to say I agree with you. The site is awful. O.K it is pretty, but I hate sites that are built in flash that take time to load and then provide zero content.

On the plus side, the last time I visited the FORD site it was not disimilar, which can only help save the environment. Who's going to buy a gas guzzler from a site that is so poor!
