Men just can't help staring

One of the beauties about the internet is that so many things are measurable. It's one of the most analytical forms of marketing, you can track visitor behaviour in great detail for relatively little effort and occasionally it throws up something very interesting.
Eye tracking is used to create heat maps, showing the key areas users look on a web page. A recent OJR/Jacob Nielsen study showed a big difference between men and women when looking at pictures online - as the image shows.
What's frightening is this is similar whether the image is female, male or animal.
What is it with us men? And does this mean if I wear tight pants it's only other men who'll notice?
