No category - no entry

As you know we have a minor glitch in the system whereby if an entry is not allocated a category it can upset our feeds.
Mostly we all allocate categories automatically but it has happened a couple of times over the last few weeks and each time we lose the feeds our readership falls by about 90%!
We are working to fix the underlying problem, but in the meantime we have made a minor change to minimise the impact.
From now, if you haven't allocated a category to your entry, the system won't allow you to post it. So if you are trying to publish and it won't work, check you've allocated a category first.
