West Ham end Spurs dream

My last article here asked if West Ham could deny Spurs 4th place and the answer was yes, they could.
I had a dramatic and nerve-wracking day at Highbury where Arsenal did all they could by beating Wigan 4-2. In the end though, it all rested on the result at Upton Park.
Well done to West Ham for making the Highbury farwell party go with a bang, though the reports we got throughout the match suggested Spurs were unlucky not to get more from the game.
Matt Lucas (Little Britain) was speaking at the pre-match lunch for Arsenal's corporate sponsors and apologised for not turning up on time. His excuse? He'd been out late the night before working in an East End restaurant.
Hard luck Spurs and thanks again West Ham. You had 35,000 extra fans at Highbury.
