Stewart Robson joins the football team

I'm delighted to announce that Stewart Robson has joined the Real Life News football writing team.

Since launch we've had passionate fans writing about their clubs and football in general. Stewart gives a added angle by providing an insider's view.

Stewart joined Arsenal aged 16 and debuted as the youngest player in the clubs history whilst also captaining England Youth and the U21's.

He later moved to West Ham where injuries threatened his career, but he came back to captain Coventry City. He was named player of the year at all three clubs.

Stewart is now a professional journalist. He writes for the Sunday Telegraph among others, co-commentates for several production companies and runs coach education sessions for various clubs.

Talking to Stewart I have been struck by his passion for improving the quality of coaching in the English game. His first post demonstrates this, highlighting concerns over Stuart Pearce's tactical abilities and how far he can take the team with this weakness.
