What's happened to the bloglines plumber?

Every site his it's own unique way of informing users of site outages or problems and many add a bit of their personality.

With Twitter you see their whale and with Bloglines it used to be the Bloglines plumber, but it appears he's been sacked in favour of some bubbles!

Now I used to like the plumber, he always made me smile despite the annoyance that the site wasn't working. So please bring him back!
